Tips & Best Practices

  • Start with the Profitability Report — it gives you the clearest picture of which products drive your business
  • Run ABC Analysis monthly — reclassify products regularly so your purchasing and display decisions reflect current sales patterns
  • Use Dead Stock to free up capital — products with zero sales in 60+ days may need discounting, bundling, or removal from your catalog
  • Compare food cost monthly — for restaurants, tracking the gap between theoretical and actual food cost reveals waste and portioning issues
  • Export and archive — download key reports at month-end for your accountant or for offline analysis
  • Combine reports — use Supplier Performance alongside Price Movement to negotiate better terms with your vendors
